These are my first recordings with my Sony EX-1. Initially, I intended to shoot all vehicles which I used on my way. Later, this concept wasn´t the main interest of mine, I wanted to film my visit.
As a person with a strongly visually minted perception, I went to cinema to watch “The Watchmen”, and it was a pleasure!
I like stories about separation and loss or questioning of identity. I like stories which constantly break their own visual or storytelling rules. I like the shot of the gravestones with skyscrapers in the background, and “Dr. Manhattan” doing yoga on mars, looking like some cheap techno merchandise poster. I like the 80´s setting. I don´t know what the Watchmen try to share, I don´t think that they have something in common, but still they relate to each other, reminds me of reality.
The second time, and it’s almost the same. I sense things different now, so I changed since last time. Good feeling, too rare.
