I am busy with lots of work which needs to get streamlined. The available tools are slow.

I will get 2 hours sleep before the next job. I´ll have to take care of myself.

… does not apply to me these days, I am busy and not connected, as expected.

I did some nice shoots in the mediterraenean, the steadycam is a beast but I will tame it. It´s impossible to find balance on a ship, is it?

Nevertheless, I did some nice shots which showed me that there is great potential of use for this equipment. I´ll try around.

Today, I am in Cannes, I am enjoying a café au lait, some crêpes, and the beautiful white pixels between me and the ocean, watch this:

Tron: Legacy – First Look & Preview Of Daft Punk Soundtrack: “

We’ve mentioned previously that Daft Punk was scoring the new Tron movie Tron: Legacy, due out in 2011. Here’s a preview of the look and sound of the film, from Comic-Con 2009.

This is unconfirmed info, but Daft Punk is rumored to have written 24 new songs for the film. The Comic-Con rumormill also has it that Daft Punk will be touring their TRON: LEGACY soundtrack. Director Joseph Kosinski was asked if Daft Punk would tour their soundtrack and he replied that there would ‘definitely be Daft Punk Tron-themed events on the horizon.’

Anybody ready for this, right now?

…,that´s what I do. I have a lot of things on my mind, and no time to sort it properly. But wait, isn´t this just a blog entry what I am writing?

Ok,…

• I think I will get a Steadicam Pilot in a couple of days. If so, I will let you know and do my best to share the results with you. If there will be results, a long hard road full of work stretches under my feet towards the horizon.
• I want to go to the baltic sea next week, but this collides somehow with
• tasks at my fathers place: I sorting my way through piles of paper files of the last 30 years, trying to get a grip on space and time over there. And to make my father feel better.
• I want to play with my Ableton Live and Native Instruments Komplete software extensively, doing some sound designing.
• I want to buy Final Cut Studio.
• I want to ride my motorbike, but there are some parts to check on it, and I don´t know when to do it.
• I want to enjoy more time with my family.
• I want to read more books. I have a dozen waiting for me right next to me.
• I want to do more sports.
• and that was just the tip of the iceberg!

I need more hours per day!

As always after coming home, I feel exhausted about the need to re-connect to everything.

seems to get harder in the last days, I am very impatiently. social interaction reveal lots of space between me and my mates, most of the time it´s entertaining and instructively, but then, painful. I like to dislike. Occasionally, I find acceptance in me.

I am also interested in social patterns, I think they are fantastic. Some thoughts:

• They can be cut, copied and pasted by persons or groups of persons
• They are very precise, the desired output is defined, although no one defines
• They belong to no one, they are kind of open source
• They are very powerful when misused

As a person with a strongly visually minted perception, I went to cinema to watch “The Watchmen”, and it was a pleasure!

I like stories about separation and loss or questioning of identity. I like stories which constantly break their own visual or storytelling rules. I like the shot of the gravestones with skyscrapers in the background, and “Dr. Manhattan” doing yoga on mars, looking like some cheap techno merchandise poster. I like the 80´s setting. I don´t know what the Watchmen try to share, I don´t think that they have something in common, but still they relate to each other, reminds me of reality.

I did an update concerning the wordpress software running this little site, and I´ll update myself to make more use of this! Hope everything is running fine now (this is the first test), so I can run along

,I can feel it, I know speed and direction, but the destination is partly disguised, it refuses to get uncovered by me. I will push it further.

I don’t sleep well. I had some feverish nightmare, my head’s size oscillating between the size of a pea and the room, where I am now, feeling some kind of agression in me rising and falling in correspondance. It frightened me and I kind of liked it.

Parts of the upcoming future unfold, that’s good, I shall not loose my grip on the way how I take influence.

Ich bin wieder an Land, und vertiefe mich in Aufräumarbeiten (ich schreibe erstmal über die äußerlichen…), da mein Computer und auch meine externe Festplatte vor mir in den unverdienten Ruhestand getreten sind. Das ist unverzeihlich, deshalb habe ich sofort folgende Maßnahmen ergriffen:

- neue Festplatte für´s MacBook Pro

- neue externe Festplatte zwecks Datensicherung

- erfolgreiche Datenrettung von Dateien, für die ich mehr als ein halbes Jahrzehnt gebraucht habe, um sie zu erstellen/laden/kopieren/finden

Das ganze hat leider gute 250 € gekostet und bisher schon 2,5 Tage, aber der Sinn des Ganzen ist aus meiner Sicht unbestritten.

Jetzt zum persönlichen Teil: Die Aktion spiegelt auch ein wenig meinen mentalen Zustand wieder. Ich räume auf, rette Altes und organisiere es neu, und bereite mich auf künftige Anwendungen vor. Seltsam, wie sehr “Computerarbeit” als Modell für alternative Realitäten herhalten kann, aber das denkt wahrscheinlich auch der Buchhalter über Konten, der Jedi-Meister über die Macht und der Junkie über H.

Ich habe mir zur Belohnung einen Kaffee gegönnt:

Jawohl, ich habe heute abend seit längerer Zeit in dem Buch “Here comes everybody” von Clay Shirky gelesen, ein ausgezeichnetes Buch! Es handelt von Gesellschafts- und Kommunikationsveränderungen durch Internet-Technologien, und ist sehr inspirierend und aufschlussreich. Es verschafft mir ein gutes, motiviertes Gefühl, vielleicht ist das der Grund, warum ich gerade in die Tasten haue.

Im Buch steht, dass ich publiziere, aber es gibt im Grunde kein Publikum, und meine Informationen sind auch nicht für die Öffentlichkeit bestimmt, sondern für einen kleinen Kreis von Menschen. Dennoch ist dieser Eintrag für Milliarden von Menschen zugänglich.

Ich habe in den letzten Monaten sehr selten geschrieben. Meiner Intention, über Dinge zu schreiben, die mich bewegen, habe ich selbst Widerstand geleistet. Zum einen, um eine Art Filter zu errichten, um Interessantes zu berichten, zum anderen, weil ich Dinge erlebt habe, auf die ich nicht besonders stolz bin, und es mir unangenehm war. 

Jetzt ist mir Letzteres unangenehm, weil es wie eine Selbstzensur ist, und ich verachte dies, auch wenn ich selbst nicht frei davon bin. Es geht nicht darum, dass ich darüber geschrieben habe oder nicht, sondern darum, warum ich nicht darüber geschrieben habe!

Ich fühle mich heute etwas besser als vorgestern und gestern, da ich in meinen Anliegen ein wenig weitergekommen bin, und ich morgen ebenfalls einiges erledigen werde.

Ich spüre mich selbst etwas deutlicher als in der letzten Zeit üblich war, das gefällt mir auch sehr!
