Kevin Kelly erklärt seine Idee von ‘What technology wants’. Wieder einmal eine sehenswerte 19-minütige TED-Präsentation. Dieses Mal von der der TEDx in Amsterdam, in welcher der Sprecher den Begriff Technologie definiert und erklärt was Technologie bewirkt. Erstaunlich, was schon alleine eine kleine von Menschen produzierte Axt bewirkt. Aber schaut selbst!

effectsportal.net is a new website adventuring in to the realm of visual effects video tutorials for filming.
They are mostly in After Effects CS4. Feel free to comment on the tutorials, we’d love to know what you think!
If you want to submit a VFX or SFX shot we’d love to see them and might post them on the website.

Right now and at least for the next couple of days, I will check all information about the latest versions of video editing software suits, and I am focused on Apple´s Final Cut Studio Suite (and Final Cut Pro), as well as Avid´s Media Composer 4.0. On my way through, I will post some links to the web resources which I found helpful and vital.
